Spot
Practical advice
Serial number is located on the back of the device.
Phone number and unit serial number is also located on the lid of the box.
Installation instructions
Mount Trackunit Spot using M4 or 5/32 inch screws that can be found inside the box. Use TX20 tool ( 0,6 Nm).
Do NOT install the device unit directly under a layer of metal or next to wires.
Horizontal installation
Antenna is placed on the top right corner. Use sticker on the backside as indicator of the left side.
Vertical installation
For better antenna performance place the device facing up. Use sticker on the backside as indicator of the bottom side.

Handling recommendations
Use location
This equipment design applies to commercial or industrial equipment expect­ed to be installed in locations where only adults are normally present
Life time
The expected product operational lifetime is between 6 month to 5 years dependent on the actual tracking profile applied.
Operating temperature
The TU501-X SPOT operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C (Non-rechargeable primary cell Lithium metal (Li-MnO2/Li-SOCl2) batteries in the battery pack). The battery pack is safety compliant to IEC 60086-4.
Approvals
Battery pack The battery pack can be exchanged when the unit run out of power. Contact the Trackunit support for acquiring a new battery pack and instruction on how to change it.
Environmental
The TU50X-1 SPOT product complies the environmental conditions for heavy trucks SAE J1455 with the IP66K and IP69K classification as shown in the list below.
FCC/IC
The TU50X-1 SPOT product contains radio transmitters that comply with CFR 47 Part 15, Part 22 and Part 24 of the FCC rules and with RSS-GEN, RSS-132, RSS-133 and ICES-003 of Industry Canada requirements
CE mark
The TU50X-1 SPOT product complies with the essential requirements of the RED Directive 2014/53/EU directive with respect to the EMC requirements, safety and radio spectrum matters.

Approvals
Pacemakers, defibrillators etc.: The Health Industry Manufacturers Association recommends that a minimum separation of six (6”) inches (15 cm) be maintained between a handheld wireless phone and an ISO 14117:2012 compli­ant pacemaker/heart defibrillator to avoid potential interference with the pacemaker/heart defibrilla­tor.
The following precautions applies:
• The TU50X-1 SPOT unit is not intended for handheld use or to be worn on the body.
• It is recommended that a minimum separation of (8”) inches (20 cm) is to be maintained between
the TU50X-1 SPOT unit and any persons’ body at all times.
