be referred to as „tracker‟ in the following. They contain important information regarding set-up and operation. Before using the tracker, pleasereadtheoperatinginstructions carefully. This particularly applies to thesafetynotes.Failuretoadhereto these operating instructions may resultinsevereinjuryordamageto thetracker.
The operating instructions are basedonthestandardsandrulesin forceintheEuropeanUnion.When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws.

Trackimo is a GPS tracking device that allows tracking and finding valuables and sending smart alerts. Trackimo system was designed to be user friendly. At any given moment you can check where your
things have been and where they are now. No matter what you are travelling with, you and your luggage will be safe on the road!
Safety

Incorrect electrical installation or usingamainsvoltagethatistoo high canresultinanelectricshock.
Only connect the tracker and the charging cable if the mains voltage of the power socket matchesthatstatedonthel abel.
Only connect the mains adaptortoaneasilyacces sible power socket so that the charging cable
can be quickly disconnected from the mains supply if itmalfunctions.
Donotusethetrackerifthere are visible signs of damage or if the charging cable is defective.
If the charging cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the
manufacturer‟s service
department or a similarly qualified person in order to avoidrisk.
Only charge the batterywith the charging cablesupplied.
Donotopenthetrackercasing. Instead, ensure any repairs are carried out by specialists. Contact a specialistworkshop. Warrantyandguaranteeclaims cannotbemadeifrepairshave been carried out independently, or if the tracker has been incorrectly connected or operated.
Only parts that correspond with the original device‟sdata can be used in repairs. This tracker containselectronic
and mechanical parts that are essential for protecting against potential hazards.
Do not submerge the charging cableorthetrackerinwateror otherliquids.
Keep the tracker and all accessories away from open flames and hotsurfaces.
Do not kink the charging cable and do not place it over sharp edges.
Only use the charging cableindoors.Neveruse the charging cable in places wherethereisahighlevel of humidity, or in therain. Ensure that children do notput objects into thetracker.

toy. If you give your child the tracker to take with them, you must comprehensivelyexplain the dangers to them and explain how to operate the tracker.
Do not allow children to play with packaging film. Children may get caught in it when playing andsuffocate.
Do not allow children to play with small parts. They could swallow these andchoke.
Initial set-up
Checking the pack contents
NOTE
Risk of damage!
Ifyoucarelesslyopenthepackaging with a sharp knife or another sharp object, the tracker can quickly becomedamaged.
Be very careful when opening the packaging.

Takeeachindividualpartoutof thepackaging.

Checkwhethereverythinghas beendelivered.

Check whether individual parts showanysignsofdamage.Ifthis isthecase,donotusethetracker. Contact themanufacturer.
Installing and charging the battery
When you unpack the tracker for the first time, the battery is empty. Charge it as follows:
1.
Connectthechargingplugofthe chargingcabletothetrackerwith the magnetic chargingport.
2.
Connect the other end of the chargingcabletotheUSBpower adaptor and then to the power socket.Alternatively,youcanalso connect the charging cable to a computer.
3.
Chargethetrackerfor12hours.
The red light will blink whilst charging. When the tracker is fully charged, the light will turn solid red.
4.
Disconnectthetrackerfromthe chargingcable.
Turning the tracker on
1.
Takethetrackeroutsidesothatit isintheopenair.
2.
Pressandholdtheon/offbutton foratleast3seconds.
Thegreenlightonthefrontwillstart toflash.
3.
Putthetrackerdownandwaitfor at least 15minutes.
ThetrackerwillcarryoutinitialGPS positioning.Thisisrequiredforthe device to function correctly. The tracker will then be ready for use and can beactivated.
Activating the tracker

OpenyourInternetbrowserand go to the following website:www.trackimo.eu

Select yourlanguage.
3.
Clickon„Activate‟,createanac- countandfollowtheon-screen instructions.
Youcanalsoactivatethetrackerwith theapp.Todoso,proceedasfollows:

ter “Installing theapp”).

Clickon“Register”andfollowthe
instructionsthereforregistering, or log into your account if you already haveone.
6.
Select “Activate device” in the operationmenuandfollowthe instructions.
Installing the app
Download the trackimo app free of charge via the Google Playstore or the Apple Store and install this on your smartphone. Then log into the account you created on the website.
Functions
Checking the connection
Press the on/off button to check whetherthetrackerisonoroff.Ifat leastonelightcomeson,thetracker is on. If no light comes on, the tracker isoff.
Note:
usingtheOFFsettinginyourapp‟s menu or on the tracking interval homepage. The device doesn‟t have to be turned off. Charge the batteryfromtimetotime,butatthe latestwhenyoureceiveamessage notifyingyouthatthebatterylevelis at10%.Assoonasthebatterylevel islow,theredlightwillstarttoblink.

On/off button:
Press and hold the on/off button to turn the tracker on or off.
Briefly press the on/off button once to check whether the tracker is on.
Geofencing
A geofence is a self-defined virtualboundary.Youwillreceivea notificationassoonasthetracker leaves this area or goes into this area.

Click on“Barriers”.

Clickonthe“Createanewbarrier” button.
A pink rectangular fence will be created around your device‟s current location (or in the centreof the map).

Youcanalsoenteranaddress to position afence.
You can choose apre-defined size.
You can change the size by making the sides ofthe rectangle bigger or smaller, or by moving the rectangle.
Onceyourfencehasbeencreated, you can give your geofence a nameandclickon“Save”.
Now you can enter additional telephone numbers (for SMS notifications) or e-mail addresses fornotifications.
Speed alert
You will receive a notification as soon as the tracker moves faster than the speed pre-defined by you.

Light sensor
The tracker has a light sensor. It registersstronglightchangessuch as an abrupt change of light from dark to bright. If such a change of light is registered, the tracker will automaticallysendanotificationto your registered e-mail address or, ifyouhavespecifiedatelephone number, a text message will be sent to this number.
GPSsignal and reception
ThetrackerusesGPS(GlobalPosi­tioningSystem)technologytocal­culateitscurrentlocation.Itreceives signalsfromGPSsatellitesinspace. TheseGPSsignalscanbereceived when the device is used outdoors or in avehicle.
TheGPSsignalisblocked,however, whenthetrackerislocatedinside
a building or under a concrete roof. The signal may be blocked or diverted even if the tracker is placed near a window. In such cases the device will use an alternative method to calculate its position. The position is deter­mined through identification of a nearby 2.4G router or mobile communications antenna. This is less precise than GPS data, and may be hundreds of metres from the tracker. If the device is using a cell-based location (also known as “GSM-based location”), you will be able to tell by a semi-transparent blue circle over the location.

Never put the tracker in the washingmachine.Thiswould destroyit.
