Initial set-up
Checking the pack contents

Installing and charging the
battery
When you unpack the tracker for
the first time, the battery is empty.
Charge it as follows:
1.
Connectthechargingplugofthe
chargingcabletothetrackerwith
the magnetic chargingport.
2.
Connect the other end of the
chargingcabletotheUSBpower
adaptor and then to the power
socket.Alternatively,youcanalso
connect the charging cable to a
computer.
3.
Chargethetrackerfor12hours.
The red light will blink whilst
charging. When the tracker is fully
charged, the light will turn solid red.
4.
Disconnectthetrackerfromthe
chargingcable.
Turning the tracker on
1.
Takethetrackeroutsidesothatit
isintheopenair.
2.
Pressandholdtheon/offbutton
foratleast3seconds.
Thegreenlightonthefrontwillstart
toflash.
3.
Putthetrackerdownandwaitfor at
least 15minutes.
ThetrackerwillcarryoutinitialGPS
positioning.Thisisrequiredforthe
device to function correctly. The
tracker will then be ready for use
and can beactivated.
Activating the tracker
1.
OpenyourInternetbrowserand
go to the following
website:www.trackimo.eu
instructionsthereforregistering,
or log into your account if you
already haveone.

Select “Activate device” in the
operationmenuandfollowthe
instructions.
Installing the app
Download the trackimo app free of
charge via the Google Playstore or
the Apple Store and install this on
your smartphone. Then log into the
account you created on the website.
Functions
Checking the connection
Press the on/off button to check
whetherthetrackerisonoroff.Ifat
leastonelightcomeson,thetracker is
on. If no light comes on, the
tracker isoff.
Note:
usingtheOFFsettinginyourapp‟s
menu or on the tracking interval
homepage. The device doesn‟t
have to be turned off. Charge the
batteryfromtimetotime,butatthe
latestwhenyoureceiveamessage
notifyingyouthatthebatterylevelis
at10%.Assoonasthebatterylevel
islow,theredlightwillstarttoblink.

Geofencing
A geofence is a self-defined
virtualboundary.Youwillreceivea
notificationassoonasthetracker
leaves this area or goes into this area.
The tracker has a light sensor. It
registersstronglightchangessuch
as an abrupt change of light from
dark to bright. If such a change of
light is registered, the tracker will
automaticallysendanotificationto
your registered e-mail address or,
ifyouhavespecifiedatelephone
number, a text message will be sent
to this number.
GPSsignal and reception
ThetrackerusesGPS(GlobalPositioningSystem)technologytocalculateitscurrentlocation.Itreceives
signalsfromGPSsatellitesinspace.
TheseGPSsignalscanbereceived
when the device is used outdoors
or in avehicle.

cases the device will use an
alternative method to calculate
its position. The position is determined through identification of
a nearby 2.4G router or mobile
