Remove thermometer from the protective sheath.
Press ON-OFF button to activate. Press C/F
button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius
temperature. Insert probe into the material to be
measured and read display.

MAX/MIN MEMORY

To view maximum temperature reached since
activating unit, press MAX/MIN button. “MAX”
appears on display to indicate the maximum
temperature recorded. Press MAX/MIN button
a second time within 3 seconds to view the
minimum temperature reached since activating
unit. “MIN” appears on the display to indicate the
minimum temperature recorded.

NOTE: Three seconds after pressing the MAX/
MIN button, the unit automatically returns to
current sampling mode. Indicators “MIN” and
“MAX” are no longer displayed. Turn the unit OFF
to reset max/min to current temperature.

ROTATING DIGITAL DISPLAY

To ip the LCD display 180° without rotating the

thermometer, simply press the

button on the

back of the unit

BACKLIT DISPLAY

To illuminate LCD, press the

button on the

back of the unit

ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES

If this thermometer does not function properly
for any reason, please replace the battery
with a new high quality battery (see “Battery
Replacement” section). Low battery power can
occasionally cause any number of “apparent”

operational difculties. Replacing the battery

with a new fresh battery will solve most

difculties.

Note: The normal function of the product
may be distributed by strong electro magnetic
interference. If so, simply reset the product
to resume normal operation by following the
instruction manual.

PRODUCT RESET

Product is effected by electro magnetic
interference on occasion. If experiencing any
issues with display or reading off, remove
batteries, press all buttons and replace
batteries.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Erratic readings, a faint display, no display, or
a battery symbol appearing on the display, or

when all °C or °F digits ash are all indicators

that batteries must be replaced. Using a coin,
unscrew the round battery cover. Remove
exhausted battery and replace with a new
CR2032 lithium coin size battery (Replacement
Cat. No. 1005). With the rubber O-ring seated
properly, replace the battery cover.
