BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The primary power for the calculator comes
from the solar cell; however, the backup
battery will provide power for low light
conditions. A faint display, no display in low
light conditions, and missing segments are
all indications that the backup battery must
be replaced. Remove the battery cover,
located on the back of the unit. Remove the
exhausted battery and replace it with a new
#389 silver oxide battery. Make certain to
insert the new battery with the positive “+”
size visible. Replace the battery cover.
AUTO POWER OFF
The calculator utilizes an auto power off
feature which allows the elimination of
the “power off” button. The calculator will
automatically turn off after approximately six
(6) minutes if no button has been pressed.
