SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ü Before using the hydraulic crane ensure it is in sound condition, and good working
order.
ü Crane boom must always be stored and secured in the down position when not in
use. This is to protect the chrome ram from elements/corrosion etc and to safely
drive the vehicle without having the boom swing around dangerously.
ü Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Non-authorised
parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
ü Always inspect the chain and hook prior to use.
ü Keep the stand clean for best and safest performance.
ü Locate the stand in an adequate working area for its function, keep area clean and
tidy and free from unrelated materials, and ensure there is adequate lighting.
ü Use on a firm, level surface capable of sustaining the hydraulic crane lift and the
load.
ü Operators should maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not
slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
ü Ensure all non-essential persons keep a safe distance whilst the crane is in use.
ü Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a ute
crane. Do not use a ute crane whilst you are tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication.
ü Always make sure the vehicle is in park, the engine is off, the parking brake is set
before use.
ü Always ensure the vehicle and the load is stable.
û DO NOT exceed the safe working capacity 900kg.
û DO NOT lift an object when the vehicle is in motion.
û DO NOT operate the crane if damaged.
û DO NOT use crane in damp or wet locations. DO NOT expose to rain.
û DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the crane.
û DO NOT use the crane to lift or support people.

ASSEMBLY, OPERATION, PREVENTITIVE MAINTENANCE
1. FEATURES
This TradeQuip hydraulic utility crane provides the lifting power to lift a 900kg load when
fully retracted and 450kg when fully extended. The boom pivots 360˚ at the base for easy
loading and unloading. The boom extends from 850mm to 1350mm and the base swivels
to help you get the best angle when hoisting items into your utility bed. Saves time and
effort loading and unloading cargo from a ute, truck or dock. Get extra lift where you
need it most with this utility crane that easily lifts loads to 900kg. The utility crane also
folds down when not in use.
2. ASSEMBLY
1. Assemble the Turn table (H) to the Main Post (D).
2. Fix the Boom (C) to the Main Post

3. Connect the Hydraulic Ram (F) to the Boom Main Post
4. Secure the Base (J) to the utility bed, garage floor, or where the hoist will be used.
Insert the assembled parts (Main Post, Boom and Hydraulic Ram) to the Base
5. Insert the Boom Extension (B) into the Boom.

6. Attach the Handle (E) to the Main Post, securing it with the Hitch Pin (17).
7. Attach the Wheel Binding Bolt (18) to the Base.
3. BEFORE USE

Prior to each use conduct a visual inspection by checking for abnormal conditions, such as
cracked joints and damaged, loose, or missing parts.

4. OPERATION
To Raise: Turn the release valve to the right.
To Lower: Turn the release valve slowly to the left.
To Add Oil: Fully collapse the jack and add oil to increase oil level up to oil plug
NOTE: ONLY USE HYDRAULIC JACK OIL.
Caution: This product is intended for lifting purpose only, not for supporting
loads. Promptly support and secure the load immediately after lifting.
DO NOT overload this crane beyond its rated capacity.
5. STORAGE
Crane boom must always be stored and secured in the down position when not in use.
This is to protect the chrome ram from elements/corrosion etc and to safely drive the
vehicle without having the boom swing around dangerously.
This Hydraulic Utility Crane should always be stored under cover in a dry location and on a
level surface.
6. MAINTENANCE
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended TradeQuip genuine parts only. Non
authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
If any abnormal vibrations or noise occurs, stop using the crane immediately and contact
an authorised repair facility.
Cleaning: Use only spray cleaner and a damp cloth to clean the utility crane.
Lubrication: Follow the instruction for lubricating and changing accessories. The handle
must be kept clean and free from oil and grease at all times.
7. SERVICE & REPAIR
Any Hydraulic Utility Crane found damaged in any way, or found to be worn or operates
abnormally should be removed from service until repaired by an authorised service agent.
Owners and / or operators should be aware that repair of this product may require
specialised equipment and knowledge. Only authorised parts, labels and decals shall be
used on this equipment. Annual inspection of the hydraulic lift is recommended and can
be made by an authorised repair facility to ensure that your equipment is in optimum
condition and that the equipment has the correct decals and safety labels specified by the
manufacturer.

WARRANTY
TradeQuip products have been carefully tested and inspected before shipment and are
guaranteed to be free from defective materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months
from the date of purchase except where tools are hired out when the guarantee period is
ninety days from the date of purchase.
Should the machine develop any fault, please return the complete tool to your nearest
authorised warranty repair agent or contact TQB Brands Pty Ltd Warranty team –
warranty@tqbbrands.com.au.
If upon inspection it is found that the fault occurring is due to defective materials or
workmanship, repairs will be carried out free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to
normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe
handling, alterations, accident, or repairs attempted or made by any personnel other than the
authorised TQB Brands Pty Ltd repair agent.
This guarantee applies in lieu of any other guarantee expressed or implied and variations of its
terms are not authorised.
Your TQB Brands Pty Ltd guarantee is not effective unless you can produce upon request a
dated receipt or invoice to verify your proof of purchase within the 12 month period.
Consumer Guarantee
Our goods come with a guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any
other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired
or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a
major failure.
