IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Check local codes and utility standards. The installation must comply with their rules.
2. Never use during rain, sleet, hail, snow or an other inclement weather conditions.
3. Your cooling unit will run on 120 volt AC, 60 Hz (cycle) only.
4. Do not operate if plug or cord is damaged in any way.
5. Do not step on or roll over power cord with heavy or sharp objects.
6. Do not operate unit unless all parts are securely in place.
7. Remove the plug from the electrical receptacle by pulling on the plug and not on the cord.
8. Test the GFCI safety plug monthly to ensure it is functioning properly.
9. Do not operate near open containers of flammable liquids or gases.
10. Do not place foreign objects through guards into blades.
11. Never wash your unit with garden hose; water may harm motor and pump.
12. If the unit is damaged or it malfunctions, do not continue to operate it. Call TPI customer service department at 1-800-251-0382.

1. Remove unit from carton making sure to locate water supply line and filter assembly.

2. Attach water supply hose with filter assembly to the pump.
3. Fill cooler with clean fresh water and install fan and pump unit on cooler (making sure that the supply hose goes toward the bottom of the cooler).
4. Plug the GFCI safety plug directly into a 120-volt A.C. 60 Hz grounded electrical Power supply.
Note
: Improper voltage will burn out motor
and pump windings and void warranty.

GFCI SAFETY PLUG TEST
The GFCI safety plug provides added safety for using this cooler for indoors or outside environments.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Always make sure the unit is operated on a level surface. The PM-18 unit has built in tip over switch in the pump to remove power from the unit in the event of a 35-degree tilt or more. The PM-24 unit has a temperature sensor to shut off water pump if no water is flowing through pump for cooling.
2. Recommend the use of fresh water for daily operations.
3. Caution do not operate pump without proper water level or with no water unless you are using the fan only option.
4. Check for leaks. If there are any leaks turn off
pump and reinsert tubing or hand tighten the fitting that were leaking.
x Test the GFCI safety plug before each use. x Plug GFCI into a power outlet – the indicator
will show power is available.
x Press the test button – indicator will turn off. x Press reset button before use.
Note: Do Not Use If Above Test Fails.
PROPER MAINTENANCE
Check filter assembly occasionally. Replace i
it becomes clogged.
Clogged nozzles – remove, and place in a
cleaner overnight in a scale and lime­removing product. Flush line for a few seconds then re-install nozzle. Use spare nozzles as required. Note: Hand-tighten nozzles only.
Recommend regular cleaning of unit with an
anti-bacterial agent. This includes the water storage unit or cooler.
Cover the unit when not in use.
