The 775 is a state-of-the-art Carbon Monoxide and Combustible
Gas Leak detector. It is the first of its kind to combine both detection technologies into one easy to use hand-held affordable
instrument.

Turning On.
Press the On/Menu button and the instrument will start its set up
procedure as follows:-
NOTE-Should the battery life indicator LED change to RED and the
‘bat’ symbol be displayed then batteries are flat and need replacing.
Software Version
CO and Combustible Gas initialisation period.
25 second countdown.

Operating Instructions
General
The backlight can be toggled on and off by pressing the N/▼/
backlight button.
Although the instrument performs an automatic zero during the
start up procedure a manual zero can be performed by pressing and
holding down the Y/▲/ZERO button until the following screen is
displayed:-
NOTE-Manual Re-Zero should only be performed in a clean air
environment.
To turn the instrument OFF press and hold down the ON/MENU button till the instrument beeps.

An audible tone can be heard by turning the thumb wheel until it
clicks to the on position.

Tracker Mode
The 775 can also be used to Track/Trace a combustible gas leak by
using the following method:-
1. Adjust the TICK ADJUST by moving the thumb wheel in

Carbon Monoxide Detection
The following information can be accessed for the purpose of ambient Carbon Monoxide monitoring by pressing the ON/MENU button. Each press of the ON/MENU button will move you onto the
next screen as follows:
Record Maximum Readings
Displays the maximum recorded Carbon Monoxide value since
switch on.
The recorded Maximum CO level can be zeroed by pressing the Y/
▲/ZERO button for 5 seconds.
Elapsed Time
Displays, in Hours and Minutes, the elapsed time since switch on.

Alarm Warning Level
Displays the current value that the personal audible and visual
alarm is set at. Alarm is factory set at 30ppm CO.
The Alarm level can be adjusted by pressing the Y/▲/ZERO and N/▼/backlight buttons.
Audible Alarm
Displays whether the Audible Alarm is switched on or off.
The Audible alarm can be toggled on and off by pressing the Y/▲/
ZERO and N/▼/backlight buttons.
NOTE- even though the audible alarm is switched off the visual
alarm (RED LED will flash and ‘Warning’ on the LCD) will remain
on.

Your 775 is guaranteed free from defects in materials and workmanship for 3 Years from the date of purchase. The Carbon Monoxide sensor is only guaranteed for 2 years.
Covered : - Repair parts and labour; or replacement of the product
at the option of your supplier. Normal transportation charges to
the purchaser are also covered.
Not covered : - Damage to the product which are the result of
abuse, improper use or maintenance are not covered. Any other
expenses, consequential damages, incidental expenses including
damages to property are not covered. Transportation expenses to
the customer are not covered.
To obtain warranty performance: - Include with the product your
name, address, phone number, written description of the problem
and proof of purchase date. Carefully package and return to your
supplier.
This guarantee does not affect your statuary rights.
