1. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSY

(a) Inspect the mirror switch continuity.

(1) Left side for left/right adjustment switch:

Inspect the mirror switch continuity.

Standard (Left side):

2. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH

(a) Disconnect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH con-

nector.

(b) Inspect the mirror motor operation.

(1) Apply battery voltage as shown in the table.

Standard:

Battery connection Mirror operation

Positive (+) ⇔ MV (3)

Negative (–) ⇔ Com (2)

Positive (+) ⇔ Com (2)

Negative (–) ⇔ MV (3)

Positive (+) ⇔ Com (2)
Negative (–) ⇔ MH (1)
