GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

INDUST-SCBA is a Self-Contained Positive Pressure Breathing Apparatus manufactured and
approved to the latest NIOSH and other agency standards. The INDUST-SCBA unit provides
optimum reliability at low cost. ASHRAE (15-1994), OSHA, and other regulatory agencies require
or recommend having such a unit available at hazardous locations where there is a risk of ox ygen
depletion or conditions of toxic gas build-up due to the leakage of compressed gases or other
chemicals.

The combined pressure reducer and cylinder connector assembly features only two moving parts
to ensure efficiency and reliability. The fully automatic operation of the reducer requires no
adjustment when using cylinders up to 4500 psi*.

The shoulder mounted pressure indicator and warning whistle assembly features photo­luminescent face markings for low light legibility and a heavy-duty stainless steel case with
additional rubber shroud. The warning whistle indicates when 25% cylinder air is remaining.

All INDUST-SCBA breathing apparatus components are designed to be user serviceable,
requiring the minimum of special skills and equipment.
