This product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of original purchase. If any defect arises due to faulty materials of workmanship, the faulty products must be returned to the place of purchase. Refund or replacement is at the discretion of the retailer.

IMPORTANT! WIRING SAFETY
(For UK Use Only) As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, please proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Blue [N] Neutral
Brown [L] Live
Plug Fitting Details (where applicable)
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must be connected to the terminal marked [N] or coloured black. The wire coloured brown is the live wire and must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or coloured red. On no account must either the brown or the blue wire be connected to the [E] terminal

Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same rating already fitted and conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it from the mains - and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.

WARNING
• Check that the voltage of the main circuit corresponds with the rating of the appliance before operating.
• Please ensure that the appliance is used on a stable, level, and heat resistant surface.

• To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without blender jug properly attached.
• Never exceed the maximum capacity.
• Do not attempt to bypass the interlock system that powers the unit on.
• Always operate on a flat surface.
• Unplug the blender when not in use, before taking off or putting on parts and before cleaning.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Wash and dry any parts that will come into contact with food.
3. Assemble as instructed in the assembly page.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
1. Place the ingredients you wish to process in the jug.
2. Put the lid on the jug and close securely.
3. Place the measuring cap onto the hole in the lid and turn clockwise to lock.
4. Switch on the motor

movements the switch does not permanently engage in the pulse setting. You have to hold the switch in this position
After using the blender, always switch to the ‘O’ setting and remove the mains plug. To remove the jug, just lift it up. You do not have to rotate to unlock it.
Useful Tips
To achieve the best results when puréeing solid ingredients, place small portions into the jug one by one.
If you are processing solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2-3cm)
When mixing solid ingredients start off with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the lid opening.
Always place your hand on top of the blender when you are opening the appliance.
Be careful when processing hot liquids.
For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in pulse mode to prevent the blades from sticking.

Assembly of the jug
1. Put the rubber sealing ring on the inner edge of the blade unit
2. Put the blade unit with the sealing ring into the cup base
3. Mount the stainless cup onto the base unit and turn the cup base unit, Turn clockwise untill it is locked
4. Mount the cup with the cup unit onto the base unit.

Wipe the exterior with a dampened soft cloth.
Wash the parts that come into contact with food with mild soap water.
Rinse with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly.
