This product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of original purchase. If any defect arises due to faulty materials of workmanship, the faulty products must be returned to the place of purchase. Refund or replacement is at the discretion of the retailer.

The product must be installed and used in accordance with the
instructions contained in this instruction guide.
It must be used only for domestic purposes.
It does not cover wear and tear, damage, misuse or consumable
parts.

Wiring safety for UK use only
Important
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, please proceed as follows: The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Plug tting details (where applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must be connected to the terminal marked [N] or coloured black. The wire coloured brown is the live wire and must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or coloured red. The wire coloured green/yellow must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter [E] or marked
.
On no account must either the brown or the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same rating already tted and
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will be pleased to do this
for you.
Non-rewireable mains plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug tted to the
mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will be pleased to do this
for you. If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it from the mains - and then
cut it o the mains lead and immediately dispose of its safely. Never
attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.

Product safety
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
Check that the voltage of the main circuit corresponds with the rating
of the appliance before operating.
Please ensure that the appliance is used on a stable, level, and heat
resistant surface.
Do not immerse cords, plugs or any part of the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children or pets.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Switch o at the wall socket then remove the plug from the socket
when not in use or before cleaning.
If the supply cord or appliance is damaged, stop using the appliance
immediately and seek advice from the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualied person.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it
come into contact with any hot surfaces.
The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer, apart from those supplied with this product.
Do not pull the plug out by the cord as this may damage the plug
and/or the cable.
Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use.

This appliance includes a heating function. USE CAUTION when
lifting or moving the appliance. Use the handle on the appliance to lift or move the jug. It is advised to use heat protective gloves or pot holders. Areas which are not intended to hold must be given
sucient time to cool.
Switch o and unplug before tting or removing tools/attachments,
after use and before cleaning.
Keep your ngers away from moving parts and tted attachments.
Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
Never exceed the maximum capacities outlined in this instruction
manual.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE

1. The removable blender blades in the soup maker can be used solely
as a blender to make smoothies, purees, dips and dressings.
2. The soup maker is tted with several safety features including an
interlock lid cut-out, a minimum liquid sensor, a hot liquid overow sensor for safe use at all times and safety micro-switch cut-o on the
motor base.
3. Before using the soup maker for the rst time wipe down the jug and
lid with a damp cloth using a mild detergent.
4. Do not immerse the unit or the jug in water or any other liquids.
Caution: the jug contains very sharp blades and should be handled with care at all times.
5. Place the base unit of the soup maker on a heat-resistant, stable
surface. Carefully position the jug on the base unit aligning the connections in the base of the jug handle with those in the base unit. The jug should sit securely on top of the base unit.
6. Fit the lid to the soup maker by aligning the lock on the lid with the
jug handle, press the lid lock in with strength till you hear the lock “click” sound.
7. When everything is posited correctly, connect the soup maker to
the main power supply and press the blending button, if the blender starts working, it means the parts are well placed.
8. Put some water and food in the jug, not less than minimum or more
than maximum level, lock the lid well, place the jug on the base properly, and on the timer, the LED blue indication light will come on, and start heating, and when it’s heating, you can press the blending button to start blending, release the button to stop blending.
9. Heat/steam will be emitted from the lid.
10. Please be careful when you remove the cover when it’s hot.
11. Food with high starch or sugar content will easily burn in the bottom.

12. It’s not recommended to use uncooked meats in the soup maker-
any meat or sh used in this soup maker must be precooked. Do not
add any frozen ingredients; all must be room temperature.
13. Ensure that the liquid is above the minimim level before heating.
14. Do not ll above 1.5L when boiling soup.
15. If an overow is detected the appliance will stop heating.
16. Make sure the lid is locked in place for the appliance to operate.
COOKING
Making soup (making soup for hard or soft food) Put the food cooked, push the stirring button, mix food as you like, and then release the button. Add your preferred liquid or stock to the jug; all liquids and stocks used must be at room temperature rather than hot or warm. Cooking time less than 60 minutes. Note: the above sequences rely on uninterrupted operations. Any interruption will result in the cancellation of the program. Restarting will
result in the cooking stages being repeated which may aect the nal
recipe.
REHEATING
Previously prepared soup that has gone cold can be reheated in the soup maker.
BLENDING
The soup maker can also be used as a blender; simply set the soup maker as before and add your ingredients for blending. It’s not possible to grind dry ingredients as the sensor won’t recognize them. Connect the soup maker to the main power supply and set the timer as the time needed to cook the food.
CARE AND CLEANING
Always switch o and unplug before cleaning.
Do not clean the soup maker in dish washer.
1. Always disconnect the soup maker before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse the soup maker in water or any liquids.
3. Clean the base housing and outside of the jug with a soft cloth.
4. Rinse the lid in warm, soapy water.

5. To clean the inside of the jug, rinse to remove any soup or large
food particles. Remove any food remains using a soft cloth and mild detergent before rinsing again.
6. Caution: The blades in the jug are very sharp and removable,
extreme caution shall be taken when cleaning the inside of the jug.
Problems Solutions
The unit is not working and beeping
The jug is not tted to the base well. The lid is not locked well. There is not enough liquid in the jug. There are spills around overow-sensor
The unit has stopped in
the middle of cooking

Carrot And Coriander Soup
Ingredients 6 large carrots, peeled and
chopped
1 onion, peeled, cut to t large
feed tube 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tbsp olive oil 800ml chicken stock handful coriander (about ½ a
supermarket packet)
Method
Put all ingredients in the soup maker jug, power on and press “ Soup ..” for hard food, it takes around 30 minutes, from boiling, blending, cooking, blending to simmering (several cycles)
Serve hot with crusty bread.
Tomato and Basil Soup
Ingredients 2 x 400g cans chopped
tomatoes, drained. 1 clove garlic, peeled and
chopped 1 small onion, peeled and
chopped 1 carrot, peeled and chopped 1 stalk celery, trimmed and
chopped 500ml chicken or vegetable stock 1 bay leaf 1 small bunch fresh basil Pinch thyme
Method
Place the tomatoes, garlic,carrot and celery in the soup maker jug
Add the stock, bay leaf, basil and thyme. Cover & cook on ‘soup ….” or until the vegetables are tender. (put thick vegetables outside the

Serve immediately for a rustic soup, or blend until smooth.

Potato and Leek Soup
Ingredients 1 tbsp vegetable oil 1 onion, sliced 225g/8oz potatoes, cubed 2 medium leeks, sliced
1.2 litres/2 pints vegetable stock
150ml/5 oz double cream or
crème fraîche salt and freshly ground black
pepper
Method
Place all ingredients in the jug, power on the soup maker, then select “soup”
This will take around 30 minutes, from boiling to blending and simmering.
Simmer until vegetables are tender
Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly.
Serve hot with crusty bread.
Easy Blender Gazpacho
Ingredients 4 medium tomatoes, quartered 1 medium seedless cucumber,
peeled and roughly chopped (about 2½ cups)
1 small red bell pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
1 Tbs. sherry vinegar 2 cloves garlic, peeled 1 Tbs. olive oil
Method
Purée all ingredients except olive oil in blender until smooth.
Ladle gazpacho into bowls, drizzle with oil, and serve.
