CARE AND CLEANING

Your new faucet is designed for years of trouble-free performance.
Keep it looking new by cleaning it periodically with mild soap, rinse
thoroughly with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth. Do not
use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or harsh chemicals, as these will

dull the nish. Failure to follow these instructions may void your

warranty.

WARNING

If using solder for the installation of the shower faucet, the pressure
blance cartridge, rubber seats, and plaster guard must be removed
before heating. Otherwise, the warranty will be voided on these parts

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

Shower Trim Installation

1. Make sure the gasket is in the
escutcheon and the notch of the
gasket is aligned with the notch of the
escutcheon.

For TS___P and TS___PV
Attach diverter lever to escutcheon using
supplied hex wrench

2. Remove the plastic cover from the valve
by twisting it clockwise.

3. Fasten escutcheon to pressure balance
valve using two supplied screws.

4a. Thread canopy to pressure balnce

valve. Hand tighten only. (See 4b for
Lloyd).

4b. Attach nut securely into the pressure

balance valve.

Secure the canopy onto the
coverplate with set screw.

Temporarily install the handle
adapter onto the valve stem and
the handle onto the adapter.

5. Install the handle onto the valve stem
using supplied screw. Measure the
distance from point A on the lever to
point B on the canopy. Subtract 1/16"
from this measurement to obtain the
amount of valve stem to cut off

6. Ex. If the distance between A & B is 1",
Amount to cut off = 1"–1/16" = 15/16"
Mark the amount to cut off from the end
of the valve stem.

7. Cut the valve stem at the mark with a hack

saw. Remove any burrs with a le

8a. Using handle, turn shaft fully clockwise.

Reposition handle so that it is in vertical
position. This is the OFF position.
Fasten handle with screw. Screw cap
onto handle. (See 8b for Lloyd)

8b. Rotate the valve stem clockwise to a

stop. Re-install the handle adapter onto
the valve stem

Install the handle onto the handle adapter,
positioning it so it is in vertical position
(the OFF position). Secure the handle
with set screw. Replace the handle end
cap at the end of the handle.

Shower Installation

ENGLISH

Install canopy onto shower arm. Wrap
threads with supplied thread tape. To
prevent marring the surface, use a strap
wrench or use the end of the arm for
leverage.

Install shower head with wrench. Hand
tighten only

Spout Installation
Note: The Lloyd spout can only be installed

via slip-on.

-For slip-on installation
Place pipe tape onto thread. Install
the slip-on adapter on to the
elbow. Remove the existing nipple
if necessary. Slide the spout into
position and secure with set screw.

-For IPS installation
Remove the slip-on adapter. Apply
pipe tape onto the nipple threads
and screw the spout into a secure
position.
