CONTENT

The ROMs version has been improved by the following changes.

[Error of TEL/FAX automatic exchange operation]

(Phenomenon)
In the case of sending with a Canon made L800/L700, when the above machine's facsimile
receives the data by the TEL/FAX exchanging mode, CNG cannot be detected and therefore no
shift can be made to the receiver capability. Accordingly, a communication error will be the result.

(Cause)
As the detection range of CNG has been set to narrow specifications, CNG with a value outside of
these specifications (within the specifications) cannot be detected.

(Countermeasure)
The setting value has been corrected.

[Communication failure at special FAX]

(Phenomenon)
When the self-diagnosis modem speed is set to 9600 and 7200 of V29, it can only select V29 by
DIS declaration. So, communications failures occur to some machines.

(Cause)
The setting of the table which is set to modem by Self-diagnosis is for V29 only.

(A30 -> A31)

(Countermeasure)
The setting of the table has been corrected to V29 + V27ter.
