CONTENT
When an ADU stack jam occurs, the error message "E02" appears by mistake. To correct this, the

Then, if the first copy is jammed (paper edge misfeed or paper resident jam) by the jam switch (see
below ) of the ADU, the error message " E02" has been mistakenly displayed instead of the
correct "E08".
"E02" jam --- paper exit sensor resident jam
[Occurrence and Countermeasure]
The timing at which a jam is shown in the timing chart below.
X : The copy sheet turns ON Paper-exit switch of copier (EXIT-SW)
A: Copy exit jam is detected.
B: ADU jam is detected.
So, an ADU jam between A and B is detected as a paper exit jam.
As a countermeasure for this, the jam switch (JAM-SW) has been controlled after the timing of A to
detect a jam between A and B.
