CONTENT

If the connector of the upper feed clutch (P.8-I.15 4402235600 ASM-CLUTCH-10K) is caught
between the bracket (P.57-I.21 4406327340 HANGER-BAG-UTNR) and the metal cover (P.57-I.26
4406327460 BRKT-WALL-TNR), it is possible that toner-full detection will not be operated smoothly
and the correct amount will fail to be detected.
As a countermeasure, the wiring of the harness has been changed from September at the factory. Be
sure to carry out the following check and perform the countermeasure for machines made before.

1) Remove the rear cover.

2) Is the connector of the upper feed clutch being caught between

the bracket and the metal cover?
[Countermeasure]

3-1) If it is being caught
* The connector position is changed as shown below.
(Fixing is recommended with filament tape.)
* Attach the rear cover.

3-2) If it is not being caught?
* Attach the rear cover.

4) Finish

Note
Be sure to perform the same countermeasure when exchanging the
upper feed clutch.
