1. Increase in the exposure level during life end
For exposure variation, there is a low image area (in halftone) which sometimes darkens near the life
end (300K~400K sheets) of the developer material and drum. Though its actual use was fine, the
image forming conditions have been redesigned (to avoid causing exposure variation), and the
stability of image forming (exposure level) has been improved.
The adjustment code with this change has been added as follows. In the case of this countermeasure,
be sure to set adjustment code "1".

2. Countermeasure to error of "fuser temperature" setting change
When the fuser temperature (08-410) during copying is at a temperature lower than the default 200
C, a jam may occur in the ADU. This error has now been corrected.
3. MFP (multiplex function printer) in Auto-shutoff time
When the printer function (option) is attached, the control at reaching the Auto-shutoff time has been
changed.
The power supply is not cut on reaching the Auto-shutoff time, and warming up is started in either of
the following conditions.
* Press the Start key.
* Input data for the printer.
If only the copier is used (no option installed), it is operated as usual. (When the Auto-shutoff time is
reached, the power supply is automatically cut.
4. Others
* To be applicable to hard discs of other models, the IDE driver has been changed.
* A negative value can set for image shift copying of the rear side.
