The DP 2570 copier has been made applicable to the SG3 FAX board /phase 2 due to improvement of
the ROM version (BSI F99G710). The phase 2 of the SG3 FAX board is as shown.

3. Change of part to comply with circuit approval and regulations in Australia (Asia: applied from May
1999 Australia: applied from 1st Lot)
For standardization of parts, the following points 1 and 2 for the Asia region have been changed.
1) Speaker/ The harness length of the speaker has been changed from 200 mm to 90 mm.
2) Modular harness / The number of the inner core lines of the modular harness has been changed
from two to four.
3) Modular cover/ A mylar has been attached to the modular cover.

4. Improvement of FAX board ROM (added phase 2 function)

The phase 2 function had been applied with version 25 and 26. But from July 1999, version 27 has
been the correct one (see below).
Note
1) To ensure performing the phase 2,
*When the phase 1 has been already installed: The ROM is altered to the phase 2.
* When the phase 2 is to be newly installed: The board for the phase 2 is installed.
2) When the phase 2 is performed, be sure to check the following two items.
* The FAX board ROM version must be "27".
* The copier ROM version must be of the following combination.

27 1) When the all frame error in the EC communications occurs

minutes. This has been corrected.
2) When "Security Mismatch in Mail Box Transmission" of F code occurs
during direct TX communications, an error code is not correctly
indicated in the Transmission journal. This error has been corrected.
The correction one is "B1" (terminal constants unmatching) or "53" (
Security Mismatch in Mail Box Transmission)".
