* Immediately after a test copy is made, if test printing is performed, then CA4
or CA5 service call may occur.
Test copy: By pressing the Energy Saving key in adjustment mode.
Test printing: By pressing the Energy Saving key after inputting "1" in
adjustment mode.
* When the following procedure is performed, a primary scanning error may
occurs to the test print image (dots between the grating in grid pattern) (see
below).

1) "1" or "2" key is inputted to operate test printing in the adjustment mode.

2) The energy saving key is pushed.

3) The pre-running is performed.

4) Test printing is performed.
Note) There is no effect to normal copies.

[ Combinations of ROM Versions ]
They should never be operated except in the following combinations.
As only the following combinations can have their operation checked, errors could well occur
with other combinations.

* After the end of auto toner adjustment, the adjustment mode is cleared and
after a short while a C46 service call may occur.
* Pressing the 0 + 9 keys to switch from the adjustment mode to the normal
mode may cause a C37 service call to occur.
* If the last sheet feeding from the LCF to the ADU is jammed, then after this
jam has been cleared, it can occasionally happen that when printing is
restarted, an E5B jam could occur.
* If FSMS is used in the adjustment mode, then the reading or writing of the
setting mode adjustment values might not be able to be performed.
* If the speed of the polygonal motor is changed from the central value by
between -1% and -2%, then it sometimes happens that an E09 jam occur.
* This almost never occurs in normal operation, but LCF tray locking could
happen.
* If the LCF tray locking could happen, the situation cannot be resolved just by
opening and closing the LCF door.
