CONTENT
The field adjustment chart (No.15-1) for digital copiers is designed to have the same checking and judgment procedure as the field adjustment chart (No. 12-2) for the current analog. However, the image density reproductivity level of gray scale "S" patch for No. 15-1 is lighter than that of No.12-2 due to the image processing process specific to the digital copiers.

<The current judgment level>
Adjust the exposure level by looking at the copy of the gray scale. At the optimum exposure level, S2 can be seen slightly and S1 should not be observed.
< The correction of judgment level>
Adjust the exposure level by looking at the copy of the gray scale. At the optimum exposure level, S3 can be seen slightly at S2 density reproductivity level by No.12-2 in the analog copiers' case and an even image reproduction for the grid pattern which is placed on the chart. This setting level is applied for the Text/Photo mode, the Text mode, and also the Photo mode.
CAUTION
In addition, in case of using No.15-1 for analog copiers, the optimum exposure level setting is the same as the current judgment level in which S2 can been slightly and S1 should not been observed.
