Operations of Access Control Mode:
The ROM has been changed so that it is possible to check whether the originals are on the
document feeder or not even if the step 5 "FUNCTION CLEAR key is continuously pressed
more than two times".
1. 08 (AD) code 7 value is set "1".
2. The power is switched ON while pushing 8 key and print key at the same time.
3. ID code is registered. (0001,0002,etc)
4. The power is switched from OFF to ON. Input the registered ID code (No.3) while the "Enter job
access code" is displayed.
5. When READY is displayed, press the FUNCTION CLEAR key once, wait for a moment and then
press the FUNCTION CLEAR key twice or more consecutively.
6. After step 6, any change to the presence or absence of originals on the document feeder is
not determined until the timer reset or the FUNCTION CLEAR key is pressed.
"Any change to originals in the document feeder is not determined " in step 6 means that, for
instance, the presence of originals is not recognized if they are placed or the document feeder after
steps 1 to 5 have been performed.
The PNL, MAIN and LCD should never be operated except in the following combinations. As
only the following combinations can have their operation checked, errors could well occur
with other combinations.
