To prevent the possibility of "background/black streaks" occurring under high-temperature conditions
in some area, the drum (OD-1710) material has been changed and the drum sensitivity has been
altered.

With the upgrading of the drum sensitivity, the exposure setting value (bit value) differs from the
current drum one. When this drum is exchanged, reset the exposure as shown below.
There is no change for the drum (OD-1710) parts code. Based on the above application lot number,
one can distinguish the type of sensitivity.
[Resetting Exposure]
When exchanging the drum (sensitivity upgrade), reset the manual exposure and the automatic
exposure.
(1) Manual exposure
In the adjustment (05) mode, the bit value of the manual exposure should be down by about forty
bits compared with the value which is set in the current drum.
(2) Automatic exposure
Basically, when the manual exposure is set, the automatic exposure center value will also slip,
accordingly but be sure to reset it, as necessary in the adjustment (05) mode.
