CONTENT

[Phenomenon] If the cassette in which large-sized paper (A3, LD etc.) is set is closed forcefully, the position of the side-guide inside the cassette may slip.

[Cause] When the cassette has been closed forcefully, and according the amount of paper stacked, the shape of the BASE-CST-ADJUST can be changed and cause the side guide to slip.

[Countermeasure] To reinforce the BASE-CST-ADJUST, a concaves (bead) has been added to it (Figure 2). Since the position of the reinforcing concaves (bead) overlaps with the size display (marking), the position size display has been changed in addition (Figure 3).
