After copying when the following are selected, the same mode can be continued
without the paper being removed from the sorter.
* Use of the ADF
* Sort mode, Group mode
When the copying of the originals in the document feeder has been finished, a message
indicates that paper should be removed from inside the sorter bin. Previously, until this
paper was removed, the next set copies could not be made but now, however, copies can
continue to be made until the bin capacity is reached.
* Due to this change, all sorters except the MG-1003A can continue in the same
mode.
Correction of the error in which sorter jams occur after the M/C power supply has
been turned ON by the weekly timer
For energy saving, an energy saving start signal command is sent inoperable till this
command is released. However, when the machine turned ON by this command, the
copier does not send the command to the sorter. Correction has been made so that the
command is sent to the sorter.
* The models in which a sorter jam occurred are MG-2009(A)/ MG-2012/MG-1003A.
Other sorters did not suffer this problem.
In the cover-sheet mode, if there is no original set in the document feeder or no
cover-sheet cassette, and Copy will be not possible when the START key is
pressed.
Though there is no original in the document feeder, feeding movement will occur and
cause an original jam.
In the above procedure, to avoid jamming, a change has been made to prevent the
operation of the copier. (Copy is not possible.)
Improvement of the APS
If a paper size key is pressed for a size which is not present in the copier (cf. B5 size
paper size key with B5 size is not present in the copier.), the message "Set correct size
cassette" will appear, and if the APS key is then pressed, this message will vanish.
[ Combinations of ROM Versions ]
The MAIN, LCD and PNL should never be operated except in the following combinations. As
only the following combinations can have their operation checked, errors could well occur

with other combinations.
