We are pleased to announce the availability of our newest LCF, the MP-4002. The MP-4002 is very similar to the MP-4001, expect for minor changes. No Service Parts List or Service Manual has been specially prepared for the MP-4002 and this BSI, in which the differences from the MP-4001 are shown, is to serve as a substitute.

The parts used only for the MP-4002 are listed in the Parts List of MP-4001.

[Contents]

MP-4002 is an optional LCF for the DP-3580 which is a new digital copier. The structure is the same as that of the MP-4001 which is an LCF for analog machines (3560/3570, 4560/4570). However, since the height from the bottom of the paper-feed entrance in the copier side is different from analog machines (DP-3580 has a height of about 20mm), the LCF should be also adjusted to the height of the copier. The MP-4002 has been therefore developed for digital copier.

The differences between the MP-4002 and MP-4001 are mostly related to installation to the copier.
