CONTENT

Due to the change of the following items, the PROMs have been altered.

1. Addition of seting code (08-146,147) to enable user setting or not to for Auto power saving

The user is able to change to the Auto power saving time (08-11) /Auto shut-off time (08-56) with the HELP key. However, to create a situation in which user setting can be made impossible, the setting codes (146,147) to make it possible or impossible have been now added.

In code 146, choice of possible/impossible for infinity setting (code 11,"0" input) in the Auto power saving time has been also made available using by the setting mode (08) with the above change. (In the setting at the time of shipment, the change to infinity in the Auto power saving time cannot be made.)

2. Change of the restriction regarding the taking out of paper after copying in the sorter/group mode

With the original set in the ADF in the sort/group mode and the number of copies inputted with the digital keys and copying started and finished normally :

Up to now when the message permitting one to take the paper out from the sorter bins inside is displayed, no new copying operations can be undertaken until this paper has been removed.

The above restriction has been changed as follows.

Provided no change is made to the copy quantity, even if the paper is not taken out after the end of the sort/group mode copying, continuation of copying can be made in the same modes until the bin capacity is reached.
