CONTENT

To improve the ease of jam clearance in the MG-2015, the upper entrance guide can be opened in
an upward direction. However, as the opened guide is locked by a leaf spring, it is not automatically
returned to its previous position. If a sorter is connected to a copier without being returned to its
home position, the upper guide will interfere with the copier and it cannot be connected. Even if the
sorter is connected by using force, the upper guide cannot be fixed at its home position. So, the
upper guide angle is wider, resulting in corners becoming folded and paper misfeeding. The user
must be told to return the upper guide to its home position always by pushing it down downwards.
