CONTENT
1. Phenomenon
It has been found that the transfer output adjustment value deviates in trial and mass production.
2. Cause
The transfer adjustment value is set according to correlation of the aluminum jig with the
photosensitive body. However, due to differences in the basic characteristics between the trial
photosensitive body and the one in mass production, a deviation has occurred.
3. Countermeasure
The setting of the adjustment value has been changed (-2.02V
photosensitive bodies.
4. Measure in the Field
If this problem occurs in the field, when the photosensitive body and the transfer charger wire are
replaced during periodic maintenance, the new adjustment value should be used.
Note
For machines made up to July 1998 from the first lot at the factory, the previous value has been
used, therefore pay particular attention to this point.
