-Installation of Scanning Motor-

Current

1. Open the upper unit.

2. Hang the wire drive belt on the scanning motor
pulley.

3. Hook the tension spring on the copier's frame.

4. Hang the wire drive belt on the belt drive pulley, and
temporarily loosely tighten screw B.

5. Make sure 2 ~ 3 times that the scanning motor is
returned to its previous position by the tension spring
even if the scanning motor is rotated in the direction of
the arrow C.

6. At that position, while pressing the scanning motor to
the machine frame, tighten the screw A (when
tightening the screw A, be careful not to move the
scanning motor).

7. Tighten the screw B.

(Screw A is not

4. Hang the wire drive belt on the belt
drive pulley, and after inserting the

bush in the bracket hole, install
screw B. (Temporarily fix screw A
loosely but do not install screw D.)

7. Tighten screw D.
