FACTORY APPLICATION

When the automatic energy saving mode is set and a sorter sleep signal (ON) is sent from the
copier to the sorter, the sorter will also go into the automatic energy saving mode. If the above
happens and the power is switched OFF/ON quickly, a start signal other than the sorter sleep
signal (OFF) will be caused. and a signal error will result. A change has now been made to prevent
the occurrence of such an error even in the automatic energy saving mode, so that the start signal
is accepted.
