If use is made of job access codes, after the end of copying, when one presses the

"FUNCTION CLEAR" key twice, the machine changes from "copy standby" to "access
code standby". However, the key should not be pressed two times immediately, but a
gap of at least two seconds should have been left between each pressing, or the
"access code standby" could not be obtained. The "FUNCTION CLEAR" key has now
been improved so that "access code standby" can be obtained even if the key is
pressed twice quickly in succession.
