CONTENT
In a previous BSI F96F708" Countermeasure to Paper Misfeeding from the Cassette during Duplex
Copying" (Jun. 13 1996 issued), though the pick-up roller and the paper feed roller (same part), which
are the countermeasure parts, have been added as Service Parts, this countermeasure is now
applied at the factory by request.
( The countermeasure has been applied to 1560 from the first lot for all destinations.)
The following points have been changed because of the application of the countermeasure part.
1. Pick-up/Paper-feeding/Separation roller exchange cycle (life) -> 30K
The normal life of the current pick-up roller and the current paper-feed roller is not specified, but
for the new roller, it is necessary to replace it at 30K copies.
Whenever the rollers are replaced at 30K copies, the separation roller should also be replaced at
the same time.
2. The paper quantity limit stackable during duplex copying -> up to 300 copies (height of the stack of
paper: 35mm)
Normal copying (single-side), the paper quantity limit stackable in the cassette is 500 copies.
During duplex copying, the paper quantity limit stackable in the cassette is up to 300 copies
(height of a stack of paper: 35mm).
