Error Contents
When the DP2460 makes contact with the MR-3006A or MR-3006E, a jam may occur in the DF.
Then, if the jam is disposed of using the following produce, the front cover of the copier should be
opened and closed once more because otherwise the DF jam situation cannot be cleared.

Close the DF cover.

When the DF cover is opened and closed once
more, the jam cannot be cleared.
When the front cover of copier is opened and
closed, the jam can be cleared.

Note) This error occurs in digital copiers only. For even if the front cover of the copier is opened, the
power supply for the analog copiers is not cut so the error does not occur, but it is possible with the
MR-3006. (The MR-3006 finished. Refer to the F97H985.)

Contents of the Change

When the power is turned on, the empty sensor sends a signal to the copier regardless of the l
presence or absence of the original. Previously a signal had only been sent if paper had been
present. The DP2460 was connected, and an original was taken from the original tray with the
front cover open, there was a mismatch with the information within the copier and paper jams
would occurs.

When the power is turned on, regardless of whether the DF is open or close, a change has been l
effected to send a signal to the copier, where as previously a signal was only sent if the DF was
open. If the DP2460 was connected, and the copier's front cover was open, when the DF was
closed, there was a mismatch with the information within the copier, and message would appear
telling the operator to close the DF, regardless of whether it was open or not.
