Cause and Treatment
As the insulation at the lower housing in the touch panel has been insufficient, dust may get in.
As a result, the upper and lower electrodes within the touch panel have been contacted and pressure
has flowed into the touch panel through the electrodes. As a countermeasure, the shape of the
insulating material has been changed to ensure greater insulation.
Therefore, the parts within the control panel have been newly established as Service Parts (Added
Parts List P70).
