If the sort or staple sort mode is also selected with the cover-sheet/sheet-insertion
mode;
Regardless of the special size of the cover-sheet/sheet-insertion actually set, the
greater size of paper set (A3 or B4 or LD) will be recognised. ( In this case, if small
size is used, stacking can be made only up to the maximum stacking limits of the
greater size.)
To avoid this control and to ensure the same treatment of the size of the special sheets
and that of the copy (in the case of setting value "1" below), the following
setting code must be used.
Mode 08 Code 55 Setting value 0: Same as at present (initial value)

Note) If the setting value is made "1", since the special sheets are treated as being of
the same size as the copy paper, using different sizes of special sheets can
cause paper misfeeding.
When selecting the sheet insertion mode (inserted sheet, copied sheet), and copying is

to be made of originals of varying sizes in the automatic paper selection mode, this
mode will not function for the second and subsequent originals and paper misfeeding
occurs. This has been corrected.
If the automatic sort mode (08-4) setting value is set to other than "0", after an original

has been fed from the ADF in the automatic reduction ratio selection mode and the
copy mode is unchanged, when the ADF is used again, the copy image will be poor.
This has been corrected.
If editing position adjustment is suitably performed (Code 32 in mode 05), the setting

value becomes in the latter half (about 13) of the range (0~15). This has been
corrected so that position is in the middle of the range (about 8).
Note) If an exchange is made for a new version ROM, readjust the editing position
(05~32).

The MAIN, LCD and PNL should never be operated except in the following combinations. As
only the following combinations can have their operation checked errors could well occur
