CONTENT

The initial values of the setting mode (08) and the adjustment mode (05) which are inputted into
SRAM have been changed for the following reason.
The SRAM has been changed to the new initial values as Service Parts.

Code "100" (mode for factory adjustment):

Initial value is "1" inside the factory, exchange to "0" at the time of
shipping from the factory. So, initial value of the SRAM, that be
provided as the Service Parts, is changed from "0" to "1".
(Note)
When the current SRAM is installed in the copier, the setting mode of
the setting mode (08) code "100" should be changed to the setting

"0". If the setting value is not changed, abnormal functioning of

the copier may result.
For all regions, the settings (Automatic duplexing mode/Automatic

energy saving mode/Auto-off setting time) to correspond to the energy
star program are the initial values and the mode settings are cleared for
regions which do not need to subscribe to the energy star program.
To prevent the black streaks in the edge portion of the image, the initial

values of the leading-edge white has been changed from 0.5mm to

1.5mm.
