When sheets jam at the reversing portion of the ADU, if the open guide (U) and open guide (L) are opened together for jam removal, the arm near the guide portion may become warped and broken due to excessive force. As a countermeasure, the open guide (L) has been added to the lock device, the open guide (U) has had its shape to concealing the lock release lever of the open guide (L). As a result, the open guide (L) cannot be opened without having first opened the open guide (U).
