Cause Since the edge portion of the fusing outlet guide (01, 02) contacts the fusing roller, the fusing oil may become stuck on it. Also when there is strong contact pressure, there is a possibility that the fusing roller may become scratched.

Countermeasure The shaded portions (drawing below) of the guides ( 01, 02) have been cut.
