CONTENT
For conformity with the new model 5560, the main charger unit (charger case, terminal cover
(front/rear) and grid) is to be changed to the same one as the 5560.
The grid, which is specified to be a periodic replacement part, is to be supplied from now on as a
common part.
So, the PM kit, also, is to be changed to the same one as for the 5560.
When replacing these parts, refer to the below-mentioned "Interchangeability".

Shape of the rear side window, length of the mesh portion (the both sides (front and rear) of the
mesh portion have been shortened by 5 mm.)

Addition of the terminal cover-fastening notch to the front side (as a result of the change of the

With the change of the grid of the main charger, the PM kit is to be changed to the same one as
for the 5560.

Interchangeability of parts is given below. Especially be careful of the following points.
1. Never use the current grid for machines made after May 1997.
2. Never use the current PM kit which includes the current grid for machines made after May
1997.
The current grid and the PM kit should be used only for machines made before Apr. 1997.
