Changing the ROM (for SG/HK)

CONTENT

1. Reason for Modification

The following items are improved.

1.When the user performs memory transmission while many memory transmission jobs are
already programmed, it took long time for the machine to start scanning the document after
pressing [START] key.
(The machine has two lines.) This issue has been cleared.

2.When the user sends document while memory transmission is set OFF, the user enters the
number, places the document, then pulls out the document forcefully while the machine is
feeding the document .
After this, the user tried to perform transmission. Then the machine displayed,
RESERVATION FULL and the user could not perform any transmission. This issue has
been cleared.

3.Due to TAIS request, we have changed the reduction rate so as to print out Letter paper
when A4 document received.

4.We have changed parameter setting for IT, PT, CH and AT so as to comply with standard
and needs of each country.

5.When the machine received with MH, S-fine, 64 octet, the machine sometimes continued
sending out RNR and ends in failure. This issue has been cleared. (This kind of
communication rarely occurs the market.)

(1) Version of ROMs for the machines with the new type CIS

ROM1 "1ABWWTS2m" (745D) ---> "1ABWWTS2o" (924E)
ROM2 "2AAWWTS2m" (2423) ---> "2AAWWTS2o" (53C7)

(2) Version of ROMs for the machines with the old type CIS

ROM1 "1ABWWTS1k" (745A) ---> "1ABWWTS1o" (924D)
ROM2 "2AAWWTS1k" (23A2) ---> "2AAWWTS1o" (53C5)

The above ROM applies to GB, DE, BE, NL, AT, CH, PT, DK, IT, FI, SE, NO, US, CA, SG, HK
and AU.
