Important:Thisblowerisintendedforoutdoor,residential
useonly.Donotuseitindoorsorforcommercialorindustrial
purposes.Thisapplianceisforhouseholduseonly.
ConnectingtoaPowerSource
Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,thisappliancehasapolarized
plug(i.e.,onebladeiswiderthantheother).Useonlyapolarized,
ULlisted(CSAcertiedinCanada)extensioncordrecommended
foroutdooruse.Apolarizedplugwilltinapolarizedcordonly
oneway.Iftheplugdoesnottfullyinthecord,reversethecord.
Ifitstilldoesnott,purchaseapolarizedextensioncord.Ifyou

blowersyoucanusethepowernozzlewithouttheconcentrator
formorepowerwhenblowing.

suchassticks,rocks,acorns,andpineconeswilldamage
theimpeller.
Important:Donotforcethevacuumtubeintoapileofdebris
orholdthetubeuprightwhileforcefeedingdebrisintothe
tube.Eitheractionmaycloganddamagetheimpeller.Ifthe
vacuumstartstovibrateormakeabnormalnoise,stopit,
unplugthecord,andcheckforthecause.
EmptyingtheBag
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersource.
2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.

Donotstoredebrisinthebag.T ocleanthebag,turnit
insideoutandshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,
handwashthebaginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.
DANGER
Normalusageofthebagcausesittowearand
deteriorateovertime.Awornordeterioratedbag
allowssmallobjectstobethrownthroughthebag,
possiblyinjuringtheoperatororbystanders.
Checkthebagfrequently.Ifitiswornor

1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersourceand
waitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethevacuumtubethenremovethedebrisfrom
impellerblades.
3.Checktheimpellerforanysignsofdamage.Ifitisdamaged,
contactyourAuthorizedT oroDealer.
4.Installthevacuumtube,or,ifyouwanttoswitchtoblower
mode,thebottominletcover.RefertoConvertingfrom
BlowertoV acuumorConvertingfromVacuumtoBlower
formoreinformation.

providedonadouble-insulatedappliance,norshouldameansfor
groundingbeaddedtotheappliance.Servicingadouble-insulated
appliancerequiresextremecareandknowledgeofthesystem,
andshouldbedoneonlybythequaliedservicepersonnelat
yourAuthorizedT oroServiceDealer.Replacementpartsfora
double-insulatedappliancemustbeidenticaltothepartsthey
replace.Adouble-insulatedapplianceismarkedwiththewords
“DoubleInsulation”or“DoubleInsulated.”Thesymbol(square

mayalsobemarkedontheappliance.
Storage
Storetheblower/vacuumandextensioncordindoors,inacooldry
location,outofreachofchildrenandanimals.

InstallthecordwrapasillustratedinUsingtheNozzles(page4).
Wrapyourextensioncord(cordnotprovided)aroundtheblower,
asshown,foreaseofstorage.
Important:Alwaysunplugtheblowerbeforewrappingthe
cordorstoringit.
Troubleshooting
Ifyourblowerfailstorunwhenyouturniton,checkthefollowing
beforecontactingyourAuthorizedT oroServiceDealer:
•Ensurethatthebottominletcoverorvacuumtubeislockedin
place.
•Ensurethatthepowercordissecuredinplaceonthebackof
theblowerandthattheplugisfullyseated.
