1.Placethemoweronalevelsurface.
2.Removetheboltandangenutsecuringeachendof
frontrollertorollerbrackets.Discardtheboltsand
angenuts.
3.Threadaangenutontoeachboltasshownin
Figure1.

4.Mounteachendofthecombbrackettothetop
ofeachrollerbracketwithaangenutandboltas
showninFigure1.
Note:Ifthescraperisnotrequired,removeitfrom
theassembly.Whenreassemblingthecomponents,
insert2washersontoeachboltsotheyactasspacers
betweenthecombbracketandcombplate(Figure1).
Thewashersareshippedloose.
5.Makesuretherollerandcombassemblyaresecure
andcenteredintherollerbrackets,thentightenthe
angenutsonthebolts.
6.Usingagaugebarandruler,setthecomb
aggressivenesstomeetyourturfconditions.Secure
thelocknuts.
•Recommendedheightofcutrangeis0.375inch
to0.75inch.
•Lessaggressivesetting=HeightofCutSetting
•Moreaggressivesetting=1/8inchBelowHeight
ofCutSetting
Note:Itmayrequireafewweeksofoperationto
removeexcessgraininturf.
Note:Thecomb/scraperassemblyisloosely
assembledatthefactory.Donottightenthelocknuts
atthistime.
