RemovingtheCuttingUnit fromtheLiftArms

Procedure
1.Positionthemachineonlevelsurface,lowerthe cuttingunittotheoor,movetheliftlevertothe FLOATposition,shuttheengineoff,andengage theparkingbrake.
2.Removetheboltandwashermountedtothetop ofeachheight-of-cutrod(Figure1).

1.Removetheexistingdriveshaftfromthe machine.
2.PlacethenewCVdriveshaftinthelocationof theoldoneandsecureitwith2bolts(3/8–16x 1–3/4inches),2locknuts(3/8–16inch),anda rollpin(3/16x2–1/4inches).

5.Securetheliftarmtotheattachmentframe bracketswithaclevispin(Figure3).
6.Inserttheendofthehairpincotterintotheslot intheattachmentframebrackettabtoretainthe clevispin(Figure3).

11.Torquetheboltssecuringthesupportrodstothe bottomoftheattachment-frametubeto75Nm (102ft-lb)asshowninFigure3.

12.Installabolt(1/2–13x3/4inches),alockwasher (1/2inch),andaatwasher(9/16x1–3/8 inches)tothetopofeachsupportrod(Figure3).
13.Turnoffthetractionunit.
14.AttachtheCVshafttotheshaftandsecure itwitharollpin(3/16x2–1/4inches),2bolts (3/8–16x1–3/4inches),and2locknuts(3/8–16 inch).
15.Torquetheboltsandlocknutsto37to44Nm (27to33ft-lb).
5.Securethedriveshafttothegearboxshaftwith 2bolts(5/16x1–3/4inches),2locknuts(5/16 inch),andarollpin(3/16x1–1/2inches)as showninFigure4.
6.Torquetheboltsandlocknutsto18to25Nm (175to225in-lb).
7.Removethecabletiethatholdsthedriveshaft together.
8.Securethesafetychaintotheblowerframe (Figure4).
