Important:Forbestresults,yourbatterytoolshould
bechargedinalocationwherethetemperatureismore
than5°C(41°F)butlessthan40°C(104°F).Toreduce
theriskofseriouspersonalinjury,donotstoreoutside
orinvehicles.Chargingtimewillbeincreasedifnot
chargedwithinthisrange.
1.Ifthepowercordisnotpluggedintothecharger,plug
itintothecharger(Figure1),thenplugthepowercord
intoapowersocket.
2.Turnthebatteryupsidedownandlineupthebattery
terminalwiththeslotinthecharger(Figure1and
Figure2).

LEDdisplayindicatesthebatteryischarged.

Uponremoval,coverthebatterypack'sterminals
withheavy-dutyadhesivetape.Donotattemptto
destroyordisassemblethebatterypackorremove
anyofitscomponents.Lithium-ionbatteriesmust
berecycledordisposedofproperlyatthenearest
batteryrecyclingfacility.
Troubleshooting
Usingthebatterywhenitishotcanreducetheoperating
time.Thebatterywillautomaticallystopworkingwhenit
isoverheatedtopreventdamagetoit.Removethebattery
fromthechargerandallowittocoolbeforeplacingitback
intothetrimmer.
Usingthebatterywhenthereismoistureontheleadscan
causethetrimmertomalfunction.Allowthebatterytodryor
wipeitdrybeforeplacingitbackintothetrimmer.
