BatteryPackPreparationFor Recycling
Important:Thebatterypackisnotfullycharged
whenitispurchased.Beforeusingthetrimmerfor thersttime,placethebatterypackinthecharger andchargeituntiltheLEDindicatorsturngreen. Makesuretoreadallsafetyprecautions.With regularuse,itwillneedshorterchargingtime.If storingforaprolongedperiodoftime,remove thebattery.Whenreadytouseagain,chargethe batterypackuntiltheLEDindicatorsturngreen.
WARNING
Uponremoval,coverthebatterypack'sterminals withheavy-dutyadhesivetape.Donotattemptto destroyordisassemblethebatterypackorremove anyofitscomponents.Lithium-ionbatteriesmust berecycledordisposedofproperlyatthenearest batteryrecyclingfacility.
Troubleshooting
Usingthebatterywhenitishotcanreducetheoperatingtime.Thebatterywillautomaticallystopworkingwhenitisoverheated topreventdamagetoit.Removethebatteryfromthechargerandallowittocoolbeforeplacingitbackintothetrimmer.
Usingthebatterywhenthereismoistureontheleadscancausethetrimmertomalfunction.Allowthebatterytodryorwipeit drybeforeplacingitbackintothetrimmer.
