Important:Thebatterypackisnotfullycharged whenitispurchased.Beforeusingthebatteryforthe rsttime,fullychargeit.Makesuretoreadallsafety precautions.Ifstoringforaprolongedperiodoftime, removethebattery.Whenreadytouseagain,charge thebatterypack.
Important:Forbestresults,yourbatterypackshould bechargedinalocationwherethetemperatureismore than5degreesC(41degreesF)butlessthan40degrees C(104degreesF).Toreducetheriskofseriouspersonal injury,donotstoreoutsideorinvehicles.Chargingtime willbeincreasedifnotchargedwithinthisrange.

BatteryPackPreparationFor Recycling

WARNING
Uponremoval,coverthebatterypack'sterminals withheavy-dutyadhesivetape.Donotattemptto destroyordisassemblethebatterypackorremove anyofitscomponents.Lithium-ionbatteriesmust berecycledordisposedofproperlyatthenearest batteryrecyclingfacility.

Troubleshooting

Usingthebatterywhenitishotcanreducetheoperating time.Thebatterywillautomaticallystopworkingwhenit isoverheatedtopreventdamagetoit.Removethebattery fromthechargerandallowittocoolbeforeplacingitback intotheproduct.
Usingthebatterywhenthereismoistureontheleadscan causethetrimmertomalfunction.Allowthebatterytodryor wipeitdrybeforeplacingitbackintotheproduct.
