Follow the directions below to maintain this tool.

Tool Inspection Process

Check the operating hours on the hour meter, then perform the necessary maintenance procedures as specified in the following table (for complete
procedures, refer to the Operator’s Manual):

Before each use or daily • Inspect the tires and wheels.

• Check the engine oil level.

• Inspect the air-cleaner elements.

After each use

After the first 25 hours Change the engine oil.

• Torque the lug nuts to 108 to 122 N∙m (80 to 90 ft-lb) aft er t owing.

• Clean the drum.

Maintenance Service Interval Maintenance Procedure

• Check the spark plug.

Monthly

Grease the trunnions and the drum spindle.

• Clean the spark arrester.

• Clean the sediment cup.

• Replace the drive belts.

Every 300 hours • Replace the paper air-cleaner element. Replace it m ore f requently in dusty operating conditions.

• Replace the spark plug.

Yearly or before storage Clean the fuel sediment cup.

Tool Cleaning Process

Regular cleaning and washing with mild detergent and water will increase the life span of the machine. Clean the machine after each use, before the dirt hardens.
Check before cleaning that the fuel-tank cap and the oil-fill cap/dipstick are properly in place to avoid getting water in the engine.
Use care when using a high-pressure washer because it can damage safety decals, instruction signs, and the engine.
