andwaitforallmovingpartstostop.

2.Removethevacuumtubethenremovethedebrisfromthe

Important:Vacuumonlyleavesandsoftitems.Hard

itemssuchassticks,rocks,acorns,andpineconeswill
damagetheimpeller.

Important:Donotforcethevacuumtubeintoapileof

debrisorholdthetubeuprightwhileforcefeedingdebrisinto
thetube.Eitheractionmaycloganddamagetheimpeller.If
theappliancestartstovibrateormakeabnormalnoise,stop
it,unplugthecord,andcheckforthecause.

EmptyingtheBag

1.Turnofftheapplianceandunplugitfromthepowersource.

2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.

Donotstoredebrisinthebag.T ocleanthebag,turnit
insideoutandshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,
handwashthebaginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.

Double-insulated
Appliances

Inadouble-insulatedappliance,twosystemsofinsulation
areprovidedinsteadofgrounding.Nogroundingmeans
isprovidedonadouble-insulatedappliance,norshoulda
meansforgroundingbeaddedtotheappliance.Servicinga
double-insulatedappliancerequiresextremecareandknowledge
ofthesystem,andshouldbedoneonlybythequaliedservice
personnelatanAuthorizedServiceDealer.Replacementpartsfor
adouble-insulatedappliancemustbeidenticaltothepartsthey
replace.Adouble-insulatedapplianceismarkedwiththewords
“DoubleInsulation”or“DoubleInsulated.”Thesymbol(square

withinasquare)

mayalsobemarkedontheappliance.

Storage

Storetheapplianceandextensioncordindoors,inacooldry
location,outofreachofchildrenandanimals.

UsingtheCordWrap

InstallthecordwrapasillustratedinUsingtheNozzles(page

5).Wrapyourextensioncord(cordnotprovided)aroundthe

appliance,asshown,foreaseofstorage.

Important:Alwaysunplugtheappliancebeforewrapping

thecordorstoringit.

•Ensurethatthebottominletcoverorvacuumtubeislockedin

place.

•Ensurethatthepowercordissecuredinplaceatthebackof

theapplianceandthattheplugisfullyseated.
