Subject: Reel Drive Belt Jumps Off Pulley.
Some of the units within the serial number range listed above can experience repeat
occurrences of the reel drive belt jumping off the pulley. The Adjustment Arm that holds
the pulley being incorrectly manufactured can cause this belt jumping. The Adjustment
Arm can have either of two conditions as follows:
♦ There could be welds on the inboard side of the Adjustment Arm.
♦ There is no chamfer for the carriage bolts that retain the arm.
Affected units should have the welds removed and the retaining bolt holes chamfered.
Should you feel this condition exists on your unit contact your local Authorized TORO
Distributor for assistance in resolving this issue.
