ReadtheOperator'sManualandothertraining
materialcarefully.Befamiliarwiththecontrols, safetysigns,andtheproperuseoftheequipment.
Neverallowchildrenorpeopleunfamiliarwith
theseinstructionstousethemachine.Local regulationsmayrestricttheageoftheoperator.
Neveroperatethemachinewhilepeople,
especiallychildren,orpetsarenearby .
Theowner/operatorcanpreventandisresponsible
foraccidentsthatmaycausepersonalinjuryor propertydamage.
Donotcarrypassengers.
Alldriversandmechanicsshouldseekandobtain
professionalandpracticalinstruction.Theowneris responsiblefortrainingtheusers.Suchinstruction shouldemphasize:
–theneedforcareandconcentrationwhen
workingwithride-onmachines;
–controlofaride-onmachineslidingonaslope
willnotberegainedbytheapplicationofthe
brake.Themainreasonsforlossofcontrolare:
insufcientwheelgrip;
beingdriventoofast;
inadequatebraking;
thetypeofmachineisunsuitableforits

Operation
Donotoperatetheengineinaconnedspace
wheredangerouscarbonmonoxidefumescan collect.
Operatethemachineonlyindaylightoringood
articiallight.
Rememberthatthereisnosuchthingasasafe
slope.Travelongrassslopesrequiresparticular care.T oguardagainstoverturning:
–Donotstoporstartsuddenlywhengoingup
ordownhill.
–Themachinespeedshouldbekeptlowon
slopesandduringtightturns.
–Stayalertforhumpsandhollowsandother
hiddenhazards.
–Neveroperatethemachineacrossthefaceof
theslope,unlessthemachineisdesignedfor
thatpurpose.
Stayalertforholesintheterrainandotherhidden
hazards.
Usecarewhenusingheavyequipment.
–Donotturnsharply.Usecarewhenreversing.

–Donotgofromreversetoforwardorforwardto
reversewithoutcomingtoacompletestop.

Watchoutfortrafcwhencrossingornear
roadways.
Whenusinganyattachments,neverdirect
dischargeofmaterialtowardbystandersnorallow anyonenearthemachinewhileinoperation.
Neveroperatethemachinewithdamagedguards,
shields,orwithoutsafetyprotectivedevicesin place.Ensurethatallinterlocksareattached, adjustedproperly,andfunctioningproperly .
Whenloadingwithsand,distributeloadevenly .
Operatethetowvehiclewithextracautionwhen thehopperisfullofsand.Keeploadbalancedto preventitfromshifting.
DonotgetwaterontheWirelessremotecontroller.
Donotchangetheenginegovernorsettingsor
overspeedthetowvehicleengine.Operating theengineatexcessivespeedmayincreasethe hazardofpersonalinjury.
Beforeleavingtheoperator’sposition:
–Stoponlevelground.
–Disengagethepowertake-offandthe
attachments.
–Changeintoneutralandengagetheparking
brake.
–Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
Disengagedrivetoattachments,shutoffthe
engine,andremovetheignitionkey:
–beforeclearingblockages;
–beforechecking,cleaning,orworkingonthe
machine;
–ifthemachinestartstovibrateabnormally
(checkimmediately).
Disengagedrivetoattachmentswhentransporting
ornotinuse.
Shutofftheengineanddisengagedriveto
attachment:
–beforerefuelling;
–beforemakinganadjustmentunless
adjustmentcanbemadefromtheoperator's position.
Reducethethrottlesettingbeforeshuttingoffthe
engineandclosethefuelshut-offvalveatthe conclusionofoperation.
Keephandsandfeetoutofthehopperwhenthe
machineisoperatingorwhenthehydraulicpower packengineonthetowvehicle,isrunning.
Keephandsfromthehopperandspinnerassembly
whenthemachineisoperatingorwhenthe hydraulicpowerpackengine,onthetowvehicle, isrunning.
Lookbehindanddownbeforebackinguptobe
sureofaclearpath.
Slowdownandusecautionwhenmakingturns
andcrossingroadsandsidewalks.
Donotoperatethemachinewhiletired,ill,or
undertheinuenceofalcoholordrugs.
Lightningcancausesevereinjuryordeath.If
lightningisseenorthunderisheardinthearea,do notoperatethemachine;seekshelter.
Theoperatorshallturnonashingwarninglights,
ifprovided,whenevertravelingonapublicroad, exceptwheresuchuseisprohibitedbylaw.
MaintenanceandStorage
Tightenanyloosenuts,bolts,andscrewsto
ensurethatthemachineisinsafeoperating condition.EnsurethattheT opDressermounting pins,pivotpins,andhydrauliccylinderpinsarein placeandsecure.
Replacewornordamagedpartsforsafety.
Disengagedrives,shiftthetransmissiontoneutral,
engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengineand removethekey.Waitforallmovementtostop beforeadjusting,cleaning,orrepairing.
Parkthemachineonlevelground.Neverallow
untrainedpersonneltoservicemachine.
Usejackstandstosupportcomponentswhen
required.
Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.If
possible,donotmakeadjustmentswiththeengine running.
Ensurethatallhydrauliclineconnectorsaretight
andallhydraulichosesandlinesareingood conditionbeforeapplyingpressuretothesystem.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin-hole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthydraulicuidunder highpressure.Usepaperorcardboard,not yourhands,tosearchforleaks.Hydraulicuid escapingunderpressurecanhavesufcientforce topenetratetheskinandcauseseriousinjury.If uidisinjectedintotheskinitmustbesurgically removedwithinafewhoursbyadoctorfamiliar withthisformofinjuryorgangrenemayresult.
