TransportingtheCrumber
Beforetransportingthetrencherwiththecrumber
attached,completethefollowingprocedure:
1.Removethelynchpinandclevispinstoredinthe
crumberbar.
2.Slidethecrumberbackasfaraspossible(Figure2)
3.Installtheclevispinthroughthecrumberslideand
bar,securingitwiththelynchpin(Figure2)

ChangingtheScraper
Thescraper(Figure3)installedonthecrumbermust
correspondtothewidthofthetrencherchain.To
replacethescraperthatisonthecrumber,removethe
twoboltsandnutssecuringthescraper,theninstallthe
newscraperinitsplace.
Note:Thescrapersareslightlynarrowerthanthe
chainswithwhichtheyshouldbepaired.Forexample,
the6inchscraperisactually5-1/2incheswidebutis
intendedtobeusedwiththe6inchtrencherchain.
